Britain seems to have replaced religion with politics. You hear it all the time, ‘my family has always voted Labour’. This means they are blindly following a party regardless of the policies.

Don’t you think that if all those of us who ARE disgusted with politics, voted for just ONE looney party ( I’m not thinking UKIP, that would be disgusting ), then they might just get the message ?

Oh I used to be disgusted ; now I try to be amused.

Which looney party to choose though ?
Plaid Cymru are completely bereft of economic competence.
Its one thing for Joe Walsh to smash up hotel rooms he has accountants to pay for it all. Leanne Wood will wreck Wales and hasn’t a clue how she’ll pay for anything. So no go.

    The Green Party ?
The Green Party aren’t just looney they are full blown nuts.
Green Party Leader Natalie Bennett is hilarious. If anybody likes the idea of voting Green as they are against fracking watch her interview with Andrew Neil on Daily Politics. Absolutely clueless about her own policies.

    Are they serious ?
Welcome to the completely bonkers world of the Green Party manifesto » Spectator Blogs

There isn’t really any other looney party, well except for the Lib/Dems – can’t see many voting for them.

With a Wrexham Question Time panel having Culture Secretary Sajid Javid MP, former Secretary Of State For Wales Peter Hain MP, and Dragon’s Den star Hilary Devey, I hope they do find a Plaid Cymru or Green Party panelist to brighten things up.

Instead of shipping in agitators from all over the North West – Swapping out the likely Glyndwr audience with some regulars from The Pull would probably provide more intelligent questions, give them a run for their money for talking sense, and we might even recognise them from around the town….plus they would kill them on karaoke after the show.

I could easily imagine Hilary Devey in The Pull doing a belting Daydream Believer.

If you attend you will find that there is very little that is spontaneous with the questions or follow up as it is very orchestrated (or certainly was last time they came to Wrexham– all questions have to have a link back to national activities — this is in principle an English programme that just happens to have moved over the border to Wales for filming)

The Brighton QT with Farage / Brand being interrupted with known Socialist Worker Party organiser Bunny La Roche – a Stand Up To UKIP member suggests this is definitely orchestrated – otherwise how on earth was she let in the audience.

I don’t think the Wrexham one will be as lively !

In my experience, once one of the ‘Long Pull’ Panel members fixes their gaze on a fellow panel or audience member and utters the immortal, local greeting normally reserved for strangers of …… ‘Yo Lookin’ At Me La?’, – it’s likely to get very lively indeed.
