    Where is the input from the Lead Member? Cllr. David. A. Bithell Lead Member for Place, Environment & Transport, and has been for a number of years and still the same areas flood year after year. Quick enough to take the £38k whilst not doing much to rectify the problems.

    If the drains won’t take water, I doubt that they will take money either. When the water goes down you might find a nice little stash of notes lol.

    To add to the frustration our Community Council has made tentative enquires about helping to resolve a long standing issue with soak aways that aren’t working .
    The area – Clapper Lane will effectively never be a priority as it only inconveniences and therefore endangers traffic and pedestrians and not properties. Our enquires have been rebuffed as “we could not deal with insurance matters!”
    Our indemnity insurance is for £5m !
