The streets & roads around the Wrexham County Borough are a disgrace.
The ever worsening potholes & flooded roads is down to bad housekeeping.
When did anyone last see the vehicle that once was a regular sight, cleaning & flushing out the roadside drains?
There’s a drain outside Nero’s cafe in Wrexham that has been blocked for over three years now and still no one been to unblock it.
I have just been down the road between Chester Road & Rhosddu Road. It has been flooded for weeks now – no signage. Today you could see where the drains were spilling over. First time in ages that I actually was able to see them at all. Has anyone noticed around the corner from there on Rhosddu Road the huge craters close to the college?
Fat Daz fell into one of those craters thinking it was just a puddle. It took us ages to pull him out but it would have been quicker if we werent videoing him.

Round about just before Osborne’s crunching great council budget cuts.
There will be some hirendoouz accidents if the weather starts to freeze – there are so many puddles, floods that those walking will end up with broken bones and those in cars bumbs all over.

Councils tend to deny all knowledge of the problem (“you reported it? we can’t find any record of that”) and the Highways Act says if they don’t know they’re not liable.[quote quote=181333]I have just been down the road between Chester Road & Rhosddu Road. Thank you to Cllr. Marc Jones who has asked for this to be made a priority. In the scheme of things this is a reasonably new road. You would have thought that the 20C could have improved on Victorian drainage.
