How about allowing coaches to drop off either on High Street or Market Street and parking up in the Crown Buildings car park.The Council own the car park ,it is under used by all accounts and could easily utilised in time for the April 2018 opening of Ty Pawb. Perhaps just try it for a trial period .
I laughed when the suggestion of the elite pulling power of the moving of Techniquest into TJ Hughes & Ty Pawb would pull in day visit coaches en masse.
Glad TJ Hughes building is coming back into use, but by putting in a paid-for attraction in there, the through shortcut will still be unusable, because let’s face it that’s the main reason everyone was bothered by the closure of TJs & not the access to discounted towels.
I am pleased that the TJs building is being brought back to use. One reason for moving Techniquest from Glyndwr to Wrexham Town Centre is to increase footfall and increase awareness.
At £7 entrance fee, £6 for concessions, maybe one visit per year will suffice.
Wonderful News – TJ’s former building to house Techniquest, what an opportunity to ensure the filling of the remaining stalls at Ty Pawb – The Hadron Collider stall, the Space Debris Stall, the Intersteller Satellite Stall, the Moondust Stall, these are bound to appeal to the other 0.000000001% of the Wrexham population and justify the £4.5 million set up costs and the annual £300K running costs (Bershams complete council tax revenue) !
Vote the Councillors out.
The ideal place for coaches would be the carpark next to the peoples market, access to toilets ty pawb and shops and markets. Plenty of room for coaches to drop/pickup/lay over and easy access in and out 🚌

The Council have already given up the car park revenue for the Peoples Market to Ty Pawb. If they gave up the Market Street car park revenue as well there will be no money left in the kitty to fill the pot holes.
