Just for clarification, there will be two police stations in Wrexham.

The new ‘divisional HQ’ will be located on the Llay Industrial Estate (Police Station Move To Llay Takes Step Forward | Wrexham.com) – and will serve both Wrexham and Flintshire.

While a smaller station for the town centre will be located in the Oriel Gallery (minus the sea pictured in the artist design :D ) First Look At Wrexham’s New Town Centre Police Station | Wrexham.com

I wonder if the new Police stations will sort out the Wrexham area arson epidemic?

So with the Police Station demolition creeping ever closer, time to acquire a new town centre site is running out. It was stated last year in the Executive Board meeting that the new site would need to be acquired by March 2015.

Has anybody seen any evidence that the Oriel (or anywhere else) is preparing to be handed over..?

Anybody heard any rumors about the plan for the current Bodhyfryd site? With the application for an extensive leisure site at the old Groves school which I assume will be open to the public during evenings at least, it doesn’t seem viable to build another leisure facility in place of Waterworld as was being discussed last year. I wonder what Plan B might be..

Stick it next to the new prison when its completed, the magistrates court too.
    How’s that for convenience?

Now that would be just common sense to all of us, hoverer Llay seems to be the chosen location.
Which if it goes ahead the new road layouts around the Gresford Road and Straight Mile Housing Development with the addition of three new roundabouts, will creative havoc on the roads. Along with another 700+ new cars from the mass estate using the roads its a disaster waiting to happen.
