Wrexham town center is on its knees and what do our magnificent council do increase parking prices, says it all I am afraid !!
Unbelievable!!!! Are the councillors on the same planet as the rest of us? This is not going to encourage people to come into Wrexham to shop!
Although having said that I am sure a few black and white slabs in King Street will be a big attraction .. Ah that’s why they are increasing parking charges, because they think people will be more attracted to the town !! still it will be nice for all the students to walk along…
With the shortfall in projected parking income this was always on the cards. It’s a shame as before the free parking scheme the Peoples Market was underused, I know it’s only being moved back to 3pm but I still can’t see it being used as much.
The change to make councillors pay for parking was supposedly in the offing, might’ve looked better if it was included in this.
