AndyParticipantLow-skilled workers would not get visas under post-Brexit immigration plans unveiled by the government.
Bravo! The main reason for many voters the Hard left running the Labour party lost the election is they will not stand up for workers. It seems the Conservatives will.
Keep it up please!

Indeed. I remember when the hard left commie Korbin not only failed to stand up for the workers, with barmy stuff like workers’ rights, better pay and conditions etc but insulted them into the bargain. He and his shadow cabinet rudely declared:
“Once they enter the workplace, the British are among the worst idlers in the world,” they write. “We work among the lowest hours, we retire early and our productivity is poor.”
…oh, hang on, that wasn’t Corbyn, it was a bunch of the current hard right Tory cabinet. My bad.

No wonder Atherton has had 3 failed careers and settled on being a tory. She’s finally able to claim those expenses.
BTW, does anyone know what happened to her Brewery?February 19, 2020 at 7:54 pm #181283

The UK got lazy and instead of training the people on your list Wolfy, they bring them and people who don’t mind mopping sh*t or doing factory jobs into the country through greedy agencies.Train everyone up and force the dole scum to do something for their money. ATM people only get a few more quid for going to work than they do sitting on their behinds at home or in the pub and by the time they add in travelling etc, then they take home LESS.
Waht are her careers Wolfy? I think you having a go at her all the time means you have a crush on her

wrexviewParticipantCarers are not unskilled and anyone who thinks so should spend a day in a EMI Care Home. Perhaps our local MPs should start the ball rolling by doing a shift and then they will be able to speak in the House or Commons from experience.

Some are better than others. A home care agency I remember a few years ago certainly did not employ skilled staff. I could certainly tell a few tales. The previous council home care staff were excellent & caring.

AnonymousInactiveStrange how the Tory party have been claiming, for the last 2yrs, record low employment but now that they are trying to reward the far right for their support, by playing the race card, they claim 8 million people are lounging around in the UK
No doubt the people who voted to leave the EU will be queuing up to work, for free, to “do their bit”.
Those few who are in employment could help out at the w/es, the majority, retired and fit could work mid week.
They will see picking fruit/veg, wiping peoples backsides etc as a public duty rather than letting Johnny foreigner do the work.
The mouthy Wetherspoons Brigade will provide sick notes or some other excuse to dodge “doing their bit” as usual. -
