To say that Grosvenor Road is not convenient for shopping or other facilities is blatently wrong. I accept that it is a busy road but there are two pedestrian crossings on it and a junction controlled by lights at the Regent Street end. Where I live there are many elderly people and the only facility within walking distance is a local convenience store. Grosvenor Road is certainly more accessable to services than many areas I can think of.

Back in March a planning application to create a new access point between King Street and Grosvenor Rd was submitted. The application was ‘part of a wider application to refurbish and extend the commercial properties on 43 and 43A of King Street’

There are two separate developments proposed for Grosvenor Road one on the NHS land and the other on the site of the old housing department offices. Are both receiving money from the Vibrant and Viable money?

Not sure if the Pendine project will be receiving funding
