    Well it seems that our local Road Safety Unit are very pleased with themselves. The entire unit has averaged 5 and a half man-hours a day making our roads safer. I wouldn’t be bragging about that if I were them.

    They replied: “Volunteering… giving our time for free, check out NWPolice recruitment pages to see when the Special Constabulary are next recruiting

    So 555 hours of volunteer / specials policing.

    What would be your idea of adequate AMA?

    I don’t know how many specials there are so unable to make a proper judgement.
