Perhaps the planning committee will now address the problem of the domestic waste from these flats when they approve additional ones. The bins are always on the pavement in Yorke Street in full view of visitors to our Grade 1 listed building , St. Giles Parish Church and strategically placed opposite the entrance to Eagles Meadow. Not only are they a continuous blot on the landscape they also stink in the summer especially when they are over filled and the lids are wedged up ! Will the planning committee be able to come up with a solution ? How they gave planning originally without provision for the bins will remain a mystery !

Who gave permission for the Private shop in view of St. Giles or the Adult shop around the corner with a plaque commemorating ‘Balaclava Ned’ the last survivor of the infamous Charge of the Light Brigade?

Don’t get me started on planning ……………

Well neither of those block the pavement nor emit an odour but I take your point!
