New train service to Liverpool

It’s about time this happened, but I have a question.
Why are there 2 direct trains a day from Wrexham to Liverpool, but only 1 back?
Really??? You should leave & live in Liverpool then. Liverpool is a large City, Wrexham is a large Town.
By your logic then, ‘newwales, it’s a good job Wrexham isn’t a big City as that would make it an even bigger shithole.
Say NO TO CITY STATUS.
Not much use, only two trains a day. First is too early and next one isn’t until the evening which doesn’t come back.
Direct train to save me having to get the connection at bidston or Chester, is there any other relevance in the service?
It’s not quicker and I’m sure the cost won’t be any cheaper, just what is Ken skates and the rest of wcbc promoting.

More trains is always good, just extra options on top of the ones via Chester or Bidston I guess.
I always think that the better answer would be to handover the Chester to Wrexham line to Merseyrail and get it electrified. Merseyrail would provide a much better and cheaper service and direct to Liverpool the quicker route every 15-30 minutes.
