So the Council now want us to determine what is to be closed through their new survey by engaging with more people. This is a farce they want result to be given to the Department Heads at a time when they have removed the decision making of managers by brining in the Consultants.
The distribution of the survey is so narrow — how would the Council really reach out — Press release may be picked up by a very small number of people – Wrexham Leader has a circulation of about 7,000
    — paper copy in Wrexham Library, Contact Centre and Guildhall — everyone of these is Town Centre what about the rest of Wrexham County, People who don’t have access to IT no alternative formats for visual impaired

They could start saving money by not bringing in yet ANOTHER set of recycling boxes

It’s not ‘engaging with people’, it’s yet another ruse to avoid shouldering the blame.
Skew the figures, close what you want and blame the residents.
    Shameful.

Perhaps if they stopped hiding behind surveys and actually git out to the community to discuss with residents. Even their last ‘engagement’ event was orchestrated with invited ‘participants only’.
Challenge to Wrexham.com offer to run a Question Time event with the Leader put him on the spot in front of the public.

I would also suggest they get rid of the Executive Board. We elect Councillors directly responsible to us the electorate. We the public do not elect the Executive Board. The Executive Board is a non democratic group.

How do we get around this non democratic process when the democratically elected Council Members seem content to accept their none existent role as no one from within the 42 non Executive Members seems to raise an issue about the process. As so few contribute at meetings they may be fearful that they would actually need to do something for their allowance as many would easily be shown up for lack of knowledge and ability.
