    Quite agree with these sentiments. There are too many politics in play on Immigration and not enough about just enforcing whatever law is agreed in a sensible way. Technically all legislation on Immigration can be construed by those who want to as ‘racist’ because all Immigration laws differentiate between those who are citizens of the UK and those who are not. Such is the way the world is organised. Politicians would be much better making sure that laws were properly enforced on their own watch than having cheap shots at rival parties just to play to an audience
