Does anyone know why Johnstown Community Council has a van donated for community use, by contractors who work for WCBC, where as no other councils do??

There is no Johnstown Community Council they come under Rhos= many contractiors now with the Public Sector will offer items as part of a Corporate Social Responsbility policy- there is a risk that the carrot being danged to decsion makers may distort tendering process as the ‘perk’ can have an intrinsice value that distors the bid process..

How mis informed dome people are there is no Johnstown comm council it come under Rhos comm council’s umbrella who have no contracts at all with these firms and most people would be glad of such a donation to be put to good use in the community ,perhaps you are jealous that your community havn’t bagged one

Perhaps the van could fetch some punctuation?

I don’t remember there was any suggestion that these contractors had carried out work for Rhos (Johnstown) Community Council. The work was for Wrexham County Borough Council. Maybe there’s a link between said Council and the community in question???

Ive got a van already thanks.

    Roadway. Councils tarmac contractor
    Amberron. Councils traffic light contractor

i think i am right in saying that Johnstown councillor david bithell is lead council member for highways? does he oversee all contract things that are tarmac and traffic light related?

Two plus two = one white van

there could be an innocent explanation?

Jonathan, if you’re going to make such statements at least get your facts correct!

    The van is silver.
