Possibly. I hear, there is a group of wrexham businessmen who drink and play golf together.

Occasionally they befriend a roofer, builder, plasterer, solicitor, etc and start drinking with them. They’re good with him and they make the said individual want to be a part of their group and lifestyle. They all start asking the individual to do foreigners and work for them without being paid, usually by flattering them that they are now part of their clique.

And the individual starts to believe that they are a big businessman too, whilst still doing jobs for them without getting any or little pay. Usually then, personal relationships for the individual start to go wrong… not good for a young married couple.

    Sounds about right I reckon

Well, we could always demolish the whole of Wrexham & rebuild with buildings in the style of Island Green & rename the town Tin Pot Town I suppose.

It may not mean anything to you but to some it has value both as a building and for it’s part in the heritage of the mining industry we once had. Should all history be wiped out because it is no longer relevant? We have enough ugly buildings, surely we have room for the older historic buildings. We have lost so much of our older buildings which is a shame. Once it’s demolished we can’t recover it.

As the councillor for the ward has now signed up, perhaps he can clarify that he dicussed with jamie sheffield that Nev dickens had offered the building to charities or organisations at a lower asking price? and if so what % less was the lower asking price?

Perhaps both the planning councilors signed up to the wrexham.com forums could explain why (when entirely in their right to do so) the council has not got a court order to make nev dickens bring the buildings back to the same standard as they were before he partly demolished them?

    given by Jamie Sheffield admissions:

    • They will paying to Naughty Nev more than what Dickens was trying to offlad it for.
    • they seem to have no experience in property development
    • it’s their first ever company
    • They say the agreement with dickens is standard but they have done one before
    • They don’t know how much Dickens paid for it, meaning they haven’t done any due dilligence

Obviously they are front to get round dickens not putting right what he should.

Never mind that the council should be investigating, Chief Inspector Moss, should be involved.

Does rumour have any idea on what grounds the appeal may be made? That is not meant to sound sarcastic but it seems to read that way!
