That just goes to show how little gets done around here then doesn’t it. I’ll probably still be going on about it in another 4 years.
That road is being used as a racetrack and has been ever since it was converted into a dual carriageway from a single. Huw, you are right the same was the case on the Mold Road near Pontblydden where someone did get killed, (there are still flowers on the spot) they now have a permanent speed camera there..
Yes it’s very sad that we have to wait for a fatal accident to happen on a stretch of road before people’s brains actually get into gear and do something about it.
I see speed checks have started on this stretch of road at last with a 94mph recorded on the first outing!
