What has happened to all the money that the Council have taken as their cut of the penalty notices- income that was not in the budget so which slush fund is it sitting?
How can a new contract have ben issued during the Purdah (period when certain things don’t happen leading up to an election) period. Any Councillor signing this contract could be seen to be electioneering- perhaps the Council Legal Officer could make a statement about an outgoing Council committing a new one that has not yet been elected.

Being very cynical most of the Councillors would not want the Kingdom ticketers in their Ward leading up to an election for fear of dear old Mrs /Mr Jones receiving a ticket for something — not good PR. No wonder the graph you have shown has little activity other than Grosvenor.

    Dylan.
Cost of tackling litter £1.2 million but only 43 fines in the year, compared with 3200 fines in 6 months from Kingdom.
How was £1.2 million spent on 43 fines somebody looks to have found themselves a good job ?

I wonder how many ‘zombies’ they have given fines to for dropping their black mamba studs?

Vote for Independents this time……expect the same lazy solutions. Paying through the nose for enforcement that could and should be delivered in house. They are neither an Ethical or morally guided company and the residents of Wrexham will be fleeced.

Only yourselves to blame if you vote the decision makers back in. Independents and Tory led remember…the Executive board with Messrs Pritchard, Bithell, Lowe, Hugh Jones, Prince….scandalous that they do not have any ideas.

Sorry but it really worries me that people vote just for the ward and don’t take into account these guys make decisions for all of us.

All they seem to do in town is to stand around trying to look menacing whilst waiting to pounce on elderly people who accidentally drop a tissue whilst taking their purses from their pockets or 14 year old school kids outside McDonald’s as they know that most other people won’t co operate with them, as they are a private company with no legal powers, unlike the police or council wardens

The Council have agreed a new two year contract with Kingdom, was this agreed by the last council, or agreed under delegated powers by Officers? Surely it should have been delayed until after the election to allow the new council to decide, especially in light of many of the candidates views expressed on the Wrexham.com site.

It would have been agreed by the Executive board prior to purdah surely?? Don’t think delegated power go as far as signing off on contracts

sorry but these Independents are just clueless and they are ALL led by officers who are more interested in their own jobs.

No manifesto’s, no ideas, just a clueless bunch.

In the past contracts of this value needed Executive Board approval- very strange how this has git through without a full debate.
