Odd to that the Legal Officer makes comment and decisions… shades of coxon, who is still interfering with so called Wrexham Council affairs (see Twitter and Ian Lucas)…. may be time to stop interference by so called Council Officers…. where matters affect THE ELECTORATE OF WREXHAM… HEAR THAT WREXHAM COUNCIL AND YOUR EMPLOYEES???? THE ELECTORATE… YES YOUR REAL BOSSES. Now to speak with the Political Ombudsman…. for a total reforming of the Council, and possible sacking of some so called ‘Officers’.

Latest Kingdom lunacy is that a 77 year old pensioner was approached by a Kingdom operative by NatWest in town and falsely accused of dropping a cigarette end just because there happened to be a cigarette end by the person’s feet. Kingdom demanded their details but as the person was completely innocent they quite rightly refused to give their details and walked off towards King Street where their car was parked. The Kingdom operative followed, using the fake scare tactic of threatening to call the police for assistance. The person didn’t go to their car, as Kingdom trace people from the registration, but simply got on a bus and got off again at the old fire station round the corner, then walked back to the car. No doubt the Kingdom operative hadn’t issued many fines that day and needed to issue a few more to get their bonus, so they thought that a pensioner who was completely innocent would be scared enough to give their details. Would they have tried that on with with the group’s of druggies who frequent that area? Somehow I doubt it.

If this is correct it is a classic case of harassment and the operative and Kingdom should be stopped from this behavior. The pensioner or family member should request under a Subject Access Request a copy of the town CCTV from the period in question to a) show their innocence and b) show the harassment. The Council is legally required to provide images of an individual that are held under a subject access. The only occasion that this could be withheld is if the person had committed a criminal offense (littering is not) then it could be held back to be part of legal proceeding evidence.

Need to act asap as the Council have a habit of deleting CCTV footage.

Whilst it is awful to hear about our senior citizens being targeted as easy prey for Kingdom’s illegal bullying tactics – I am absolutely delighted that this 77 year old was able to stand up for themselves and not give into awful abuse and harassment tactics and gave the dirty little Kingdom scrotes the complete runaround – knuckle draggers outmanoeuvred and comprehensively outwitted by one of Wrexham’s finest. They deserve a pat on the back and a drink of their favourite tipple bought for them for helping in the defiance against Kingdom – heroic. I wonder how much longer the 2 red faced Councillors responsible for Kingdom will make us put up with them for.

Personally I think the council will get rid of Kingdom from Wrexham before the protest march to avoid embarrasment.

I still think it will be Kingdom that pull the plug on the contract so that they save face by not having the contract terminated

Either way, Council or Company who choose to terminate the contract – the whole issue has not been handled well and at great cost to the local public.

How many more times will a local pressure group need to be called in to make sure that council activities are being conducted fairly? First Save Plas Madoc Group, then Save Our Heritage group for the Groves site and now North Wales/Wrexham Against Kingdom Security groups.

It’s almost like the general public need some kind of Activist representative with an observer seat on the council meeting table so that someone has our best interests at heart because Executive Boards have completely failed to do so year after year after year. These defeats would be considered embarrassing if the local council election system was actually fit for purpose and there was any kind of risk involved for bad decision making.

Once Kingdom gets put to bed, I wonder how long it will be until the next public outrage rears its ugly head and requires another grass roots campaign to steer everything in the right direction.

Latest ALL Wales information on Kingdom contracts- what is Wrexham hiding? Other Local Authorities have declared what the funding split is from the penalty notice income yet Wrexham declined.

It now actually makes you question whether the contract that Wrexham signed is so appallingly poor and shows the inability of Council officers to negotiate commercial contracts to achieve the best value. If this is not the case then why not reveal the information.

The BBC reported: ‘Wrexham’s deal began in April 2016 and lasts until May 2019, with the option to extend for 12 months. The council would not reveal how much it makes from fines.”

The BBC could have seen the contract, and the revenue in / out figures if they wanted to. The percentage is a very simple bit of maths from that :)

I have seen it, and anyone on here can see it. They just have to ask in the right way / time.

Rob based on your knowledge of the contract could you give an indication of how much the Council are making based on these three months worth of payments to Kingdom
