Just think of all the extra revenue you will get from opening the Guildhall Car Park to the public seven days a week !

What a well considered post Councillor X.

If you are not really a councillor, you have displayed all the right qualities to be one in just one post.

Don’t Councillors have free car parking– at any time of the week?

We don’t have FREE parking, we only park there when we have a meeting. It would be incorrect to assume that any of your elected Members would park at the Guildhall at any other time and never to visit the Monday Market meat man for a bit of sausage!

Our car park is available to constituents, Saturday and Sunday only (63 spaces / 4 disabled)
    0 – 1 hour – £1.00
    1 – 2 hours – £1.50
    6.00pm to midnight – £1.00
    Maximum stay 2 hours

When you all park for free, anytime , on the old Groves Site the extra income from opening up the Guildhall Car Park seven days a week, will give you extra money to spend on the Arts Hub!
