Extreme Energy in the Marches
7.30pm, Saith Seren, 18 Chester Street, Wrexham
The government is planning to roll-out “unconventional” gas production across Britain. Evidence from elsewhere where these techniques are used suggest that it will not provide the anticipated economic boost but will increase pollution of the environment. This presentation will cover plans for fracking and coal-bed methane in Cheshire and Shropshire, and underground gasification in the Dee estuary, and will look in detail at the recent application by Dart Energy for coal-bed methane exploration at Holt, east of Wrexham”
More detail on Main index — Extreme Energy in the Marches (Shropshire, Cheshire, Powys, Wrexham, Flintshire) — FRAW which is worth a read.
