Who do you reckon has the nicest Fish n chips in Wrexham? I used to go to Les’ fish bar in Egerton street, when they first opened the chips were nice and crispy, but now they’re soggy in fat. So lately been using the Pebble in Argyle street. Jones chippy in St George’s crescent is probably the cheapest though.
Now and then I’ve had a really nice meal from Dragon city by The Walnut, the most spotless chippy I’ve seen.
    Any others to recommend?

Jones Fish&Chips, by Eagles Meadow is by far the best, ask for scratchings on top.

Closes at 5 though I think

I have been to the Gwersylt one some time ago and they are very nice, handy on a Sunday when you don’t want to cook at home.

My recommendations would be Whitings in Llay or the one in Gresford by the Yew Tree pub.

Yano’s (I think that’s what it’s called) in Brynteg never disappoints us.

The cafe in Priory Street has the best chips, Jones the chippie the best fish

It’s always been Eddie’s on Pen Y Bryn for us.

I’ve only had fish n chips once from Eddie’s and I must agree they were great.
Never ate in the priory street cafe but I know people who eat there regularly and have praised it.
Anyone recommend good Chinese chippys, Fongs garden, The Slowboat etc.
