I had been involved with the Protest Group that eventually saved Plas Madoc and never saw Mapon ap Gwynfor yet according to todays Wrexham Leader profile he states he played a ‘prominent’ — can you please post a photo to prove you ever attended any event?

Another ‘local’ poll has been run by NWN in Mold’s Leader publication.

Results have Conservatives winning Wrexham with 32% of the vote against Labour’s 22%

Clywd South has a Conservative victory too with 46% of the vote against UKIP second with 23% of vote – Labour pushed to third there with 15%.

Anyone know of any other polls locally or sampling local views?

David Cameron has also visited NWN’s offices in Chester today it seems.

Interesting predictions- does a visit by David Cameron to a media source such as the Wrexham Leader really have that level of influence. Will it switch next week if Ed Miliband paid a visit.

There is no point in Milliband visiting Wrexham because he knows what the result is going to be, and there is no point in Cameron visiting Wrexham because he knows what the result is going to be.

Only a weighing machine required for the vote counting.

    Acidic…… but essentially accurate.

Just seen this, don’t know if it’s of interest to any on here? https://www.facebook.com/events/1429389057362686/

Also do those roadside election placards actually do anything? (other than look rather unsightly).

I had a chat with the organiser last week and its good to see this pressing forward, I think it is the only open one happening locally!

There has been some abuse scrawled on a few by Gresford so it appears they are a creative outlet for some :)

TCC held a hustings this evening with all of the candidates for Wrexham (minus ne Carrie Harper had diary mix up and was on the train back from Cardiff so video message only).
Very tame set of candidates playing to the audience or because the event was in a church. The difference between their views on most items was only separated by a hair.
Still undecided as far as local candidates- they really have to up their game if they are going to motivate peole to vote for them.
