That’s OK then. As long as us Welsh don’t have to pay for their drivel.

Someone would have to pay for these profligate promises from the Welsh Nationalists.

Economically speaking, the tax receipts generated within the principality are most significantly less than the principality requires to economically function.
These tax receipts are then consequently topped up by the English economy to balance the books.

It’s so easy to shout for independence and to promise ‘free beer for all’ when your spending someone elses’s money.

Economic and political fact? or just ‘drivel’………….

So you admit it’s not “ALL paid for by the English taxpayer” then? :)

You may laugh if you wish tanyddraig, but I’ve always felt that Wrexham and North Wales deserves better.

It’s the same old cheap, political, formulaic lies, and it’s worked for years
Promise the local electorate the moon on a stick, bought and paid for with someone else’s money and the local electorate vote for the usual rosettes.
And then nothing, nothing at all.

A shower of talentless, self-serving liars who care about nothing other than being elected.
These people are the reason that your services are being slashed and why the area has always underperformed economically.

The reason the South of the Principality consistently outperforms the North, is simply down to the calibre of the people who represent your interests.

    But who elects them?

Just read Andrew Atkinson’s election leaflet- the guy should be ashamed of himself making a statement that ‘Andrew led the successful campaign to save Wrexham Maelor maternity services’.
Participation at an event does not make you the lead and the congratulations should go to those that brought the issue to the attention of the Public and fought BCU. Where was Andrew at the Public meeting held by the Health Board at the Memorial Hall?
Andrew were is the evidence that YOU led the campaign?

I see that Plaid Cymru have taken up the cudgel against the claim made by Andrew Atkinson in his election leaflet, as highlighted by Liz, above.
It really makes little difference that a mini war of words is now underway between both combatant parties as from what I can tell, both the Plaid Cymru and Conservative parties’ manifestos are as insidious as each other.

This website gives information on what the Welsh Assembly does and instructions about how to vote , it is also helpfully translated into many languages , all listed . Surprisingly, perhaps, one not included is Polish .

Every day on this very site, we read about ambulances queuing outside A&E, long delays in getting appointments and bed blocking, amongst other criticisms.

Lo and behold, the Conservative manifesto pledge is to cut the NHS Wales budget by 14% in efficiency savings, approximately £1 billion pounds. On BBC Radio Wales on Monday, this stance was seriously endorsed by our prospective AM, Andrew Atkinson Esq.

I suggest that rather than taking throw away promises as gospel, delve a little further and be afraid, very afraid.

Don’t you love politicians , they blame each other , say things are worse in England than Wales, promise referendum’s as a solution to difficult decisions and waffle when the questions get hard! The Carwyn Jones and Andrew RT Davies interviews are worth a read , even for those who bin pamphlets !
