    Pretty sure Sainsbury’s have started fining people that mis-use the parent/child spaces, hope more places follow suit!

    Sainsburys and everyone else cannot fine anyone. Only a Court of law can issue fines.

    What I can not understand is why is disabled parking free in most car parks, just because someone is disabled does not mean they can’t afford parking charges. :confused:

    I often thought the same but all car parks aren’t free. I once had occasion to take a disabled lady into town. I dropped her outside the place where she was going and then parked using her blue badge at the multi storey car park by Island Green. Never having used a blue badge before, when leaving to pick her up again, there was a barrier where you needed to insert the payment ticket which I didn’t have.
