Last year Acton Gate had their pavements and road completely resurfaced , end to end. Now Virgin Media are in the process of digging up all the pavements. Virgin Media have been merrily digging every road and pavement in the area for months and will continue to do so for another year or so at least. The Council must be aware in advance of the programme of work for Virgin Media so why didn’t they arrange for them to do their work prior to the resurfacing ? I thought it was standard practice now for all utilities to work with Council’s and do any necessary work ahead of resurfacing to prevent a situation like this occurring.
