Its only the 2nd of January. But what a surprise.(Sarcasm there.) My train to Euston at 07.00hrs this morning was cancelled without any info. Why?
It seems once again as a paying customer, I will be treated with the same level of customer care and contempt I was treated to last year. And its only the first full working day of the new year!
Shame on the train companies. Their arrogance is truly breath taking.
If the train from Shrewsbury carried on to Chester (like it used to before the Virgin service started) you would be able to catch the train from Chester no problem, and people who need to work in Chester wouldn’t be left waiting 70 minutes for the next train.
