The problem mainly lies with the weak local judiciary and a consequent lack of fear of the consequences of doing wrong.
The Police are swamped with a crime ‘hamster-wheel’, driven by a hardcore of repeat offenders.
When caught and put before the judiciary, they get a slap on the wrist, laugh with their mates as they leave court and carry on with their old ways.
My guess is that if just 20/25 people were, to use a quaint old South American political phrase, ‘Disappeared’ from the streets of Wrexham, anti-social issues would virtually cease.
Until Wales gets its own version of Rodrigo Duterte, I wouldn’t hold your breath.
