Counterfeit Notes In The Area

Noticed an alarming rise in the number of high quality counterfeit notes in the area over the past couple of weeks. These notes look and feel authentic and detection pens stay clear (supposed go dark on counterfeit currency), UV light seems to be the only real way of detecting them. Had about 10 presented to our business in under a fortnight, £10’s & £20’s, all appear to be of the same style. Just a heads up, especially for anyone intending to take cash payment for an expensive item as these notes really are very good.

Cheers use a pen so need to buy a new light.
