This must surely be one of the biggest farces ever for Wrexham Council and their workforce. How any organisation could obtain an award for the welfare of their staff when at times last year they had 38% of on sick with most being stress related.
The latest round of ‘In Scope’ staffing cuts for up to 200 is not an atmosphere that gives confidence from the workforce to the management. The whole award not just for Wrexham Council but as an award scheme must surely be discredited on the current basis.
As the workers in the Council if they think they are being looked after?

There was talk some time ago about the Council having a “Purple Flag ” Award in recognition of safe streets at night, wonder why it hasn’t arrived ?

In view of today’s incident in Hope Street they would be better off concentrating on having safe streets during the day!!
