Is there any truth in the rumour that the senior managers of WCBC are all going to work from home leaving council employees on the frontline doing the real work in keeping our public services going? Does anyone know the facts?

Just like when i worked for the Maelor Council people leave all of their leave in case of emergencies (like the Coronavirus) so it is a bun fight for everyone to take it before the end of March.
Try getting in touch with anyone and getting an answer and they tell you so and so isn’t in until April.

I don’t know but talkin about this in Spoons and some people have leave starting on their birthdays so you don’t get a mad rush at the end of march. Why dont the Council do this? Even a puppet can see this would work.

When I worked for WCBC they did bring in Annual Leave starting the month of an employee’s birthday. Not sure if all departments were included or if it’s still used though. Perhaps any current WCBC employees reading this can confirm?

The poor lad is facing the eternally painful question – If he’d worked harder at school might he be a hero even if only within his own family? He’s currently just an embarrassment.

The people self isolating are the people who can’t get to work. Can’t imagine how reassured they must have been by the council’s message.

Yer probably badly worded. Financial implications must be looked at from bottom to top. And pond life?
