Congratulations to Cllr Bill Baldwin today for breaking the predictable voting that has occurred on the Council Executive Board since being formed from the current combination of ‘Groups’- unless his puppet strings had broken at todays Executive he actually voted against a fellow Executive Board Members report on the issues of creating a Welsh School at Borras.
Let us hope that this can be the start of Executive Board Members voting with their conscience and knowledge of local issues rather than having to tow the party line..
It is a pity that Cllr Paul Rogers couldn’t have acted the same way and stand up for his local community views whilst retaining his executive position unless of course there was the ulterior motive within his Party to leaver Cllr Andrew Atkinson onto the Board.
