This story has clearly generated a lot of national interest – even questions in the Senedd today. The Political blame shifting is a disgrace – the politicians and prospective politicians have lost sight of the key issue we have people who for a variety of reasons have fallen into this way of life.

I also wonder whether the photo taken in the toilets is actually genuine or is it a set up to sensationalise the issue. — The syringe on the floor is not used as the plunger is still out (drug users never pull the plunger out when they have used one), the ‘blood’ on the floor looks more like jam!! if not then the person definitely needs a Doctor as they have seeds (or something else) in their blood, also the toilet has a blue light which would make it unlikely for a drug user to inject there as they are unable to find a vein.

I am not doubting the fact there have been problems – the increased Police and Security patrols have dramatically reduced the bus station problem but where have the offenders now gone?

Many public toilets have the special blue lighting these days as a deterent, so drug users actually draw over their veins with pen so they show up, ensuring that they don’t cut them selves as they may get ink poisoning!
