Does anyone know why the Brymbo Tanyfron link road has not opened?

It was complete a month ago and no further work has been done since.

As part of the construction a safety audit has to be undertaken. This took place several weeks ago and a number of issues were identified which need to be addressed before the Council can issue Brymbo Developments Ltd with the interim certificate to open the road to traffic.

Over the past few weeks the majority of the issues have been addressed including additional road markings and signage etc. The bulk of the delays has been with the developer however further inspection work needs to take place this week on the lighting columns and once completed the Council can issue the certificate. Hopefully the developer won’t waste any time in opening the road once this is in place.

    Hi Paul
Is there any update on this as yet? Has any date been agreed for the road to open?
    Thanks

Well.. it’s open now. No fanfare or signage though, so people still trying to squeeze through Southsea and the Lodge.
