Very interesting little story but the ‘facts’ as presented unfortunately leave a lot to be desired.
The video shows quite clearly that the vehicle from which the incident was filmed, was also travelling in excess of 70mph.
The interviewee stated that interest of safety and fear of losing their licence, filming was discontinued. This intimates that they too (the following vehicle) are guilty of exceeding the speed limit.
There can be no mitigating circumstance that warrants the following vehicle behaving in the manner portrayed in the video.
I can only assume that the video was shot for some unwholesome purpose.
What is it that said? People in glass houses……
I sincerely hope that every effort is made to find the driver of the chase vehicle and that they are brought to justice.

“Filmed from the back seat” Certainly doesn’t look like it. I would say it was filmed by the driver.
The driver is dangerously tailgating in the wet at 70 mph +
    Speeding
Using a hand held device whilst driving

    Fail!

    Very poor story from Wrexham.com

The person who posted it on Twitter is a numptie as well. Not only are they speeding themselves but they’re also way too close to the van given weather conditions.

A tip for dashcam vigilantes, if you’re going to post a video like that online make sure your not in the wrong yourself.

Yup. Many of them are police officers and, when they’re not filming you on the move, they’re often using their mobiles or radios while driving . But hey, it’s OK, they’re ace drivers, as you can see by the number of police vehicles involved in accidents.
