    Another twist in this saga could be that the Council will have to totally revise their calculations on the number of children requiring school places over the next few years due to exiting the EU. The number of Polish and Portuguese children predicted in the area could drop dramatically as they decide they are better off living in an EU country- we will not want new school places but quite the opposite as those already here haemorrhage back over the channel.

    Before any of you start shouting good– think about the knock on effect for business in the area that will also move.
    There are an estimated 8,000 Polish and 1,000 Portuguese working in the area — we only have an unemployed rate of just over 2,000 some of whom are effectively unemployable- where will the workers come from to keep the businesses in the area.
