Received a text message from Vodafone this afternoon advising that they have completed their network improvements for this area. My phone does now show that it is receiving a 4G signal.

I’m with EE and until recently always got a signal up in Minera until EE went onto 4G. Now I get text messages OK, but if anyone phones me, it goes straight through to answer phone. I suspect EE wants everyone to convert to the new 4G at a higher tariff. At the moment I wont change network as EE range out in the sticks is better than O2 (I know coz my partner is on O2 ). I suggest one or more of the Network companies need to put more booster masts up.

For me EE has been a complete waste of time and money in this area and I’m on a 4G tariff. I can’t get texts or calls in or around Cross Lanes.

Update: That was short lived. The 4G coverage seems to have disappeared…Coverage is fine but its not 4G !!

Can get 4G in Rhosymedre and outskirts of Llay on EE, but then not even 3G elsewhere in Wrexham.
