So Wrexham’s former fire station could be knocked down to make way for a £1.7 million cat adoption centre.
Could a better use for this not be found? A charity forking out £1.7m on stray cats when feral humans are left to roam the town and camp at the Groves ….

What about the stray cats allegedly swapping Whiskas for catnip?
I’m sure that the people who donate to the charity will be very impressed with the amount that’ll be spent on the building.

I say no to this. A new centre in town to look after strays will just encourage more homeless moggies to swamp the town.
Before you know it they’ll be sniffing catnip on street corners, chasing toy mice around eagles meow sorry meadow and be licking their backsides and rolling around in the sun all over Queens square.This is a purrrrfect location — it has the largest cat scratch pole in the country.
Perhaps Cats Protection would like to link with a homeless person and rehouse the cat and person- this could be a purrrrfect solution to an imperfect problem.Thats more like it peeps, a serious debate about a serious issue, this is what this forum is all about. And no I’m not sleeping very well at the moment thanks.
