Are you thinking traditional Sunday lunch or just a lovely place for a lunch on a Sunday?

Also budget / distance

Pant-yr-Ochain - Menu - Gresford, Wrexham do good sunday roasts but usual prices for them - could go to cross foxes / aldford etc as well all same 'chain'.

Pant- y-Ochain has a good general menu too and is situated near the Gresford Flash if you fancy a walk after lunch, the sailing club should be on the water to in the afternoon.

The Alyn or Golden Lion in Rossett are good.

I'd say Pant Yr Ochain too as the best in the local area. Golden Groves in Rossett isn't bad for a carvery.

Best I've had if you're prepared to go a bit further is The Walls in Oswestry..

The Sun Trevor by the canal between Trevor and Llangollen is my favourite for Sunday lunch - well worth booking in advance though as can get quite busy.
