Just finished a tin of Mc Vities Victoria biscuits bought over Christmas , contents 725 grams, put the empty tin in the cupboard with one from last year, same description but that contained 800 grams! So paid more for less!

Tesco's doing similar with crunchie bars, three in a pack £1, a few weeks back it was 4 for a £1. !!

The price of Pepsi 6 packs changes week to week.

Not higher price as it is Poundland , but less contents, the 1.5 kg sugar is now only 1.25 kg so that is 250 grams less!

Tesco's are selling Walkers crisps, in packs of 16 for £2.00 normally they are 18 packets, 6 plain,6 cheese and onion and 6 salt and vinegar. They have reduced the number of salt and vinegar to 4 ! So each packet is now 10% more expensive !!

Cadbury have brought out an Olympic packaged Dairy Milk chocolate bar, wrapped in cardboard , it weighs 230 grams , that is 10 grams less than the most recent bar and 20 grams less than a similar bar used to be. Less product for more money again.

Having now opened the chocolate , the bar is wrapped in plastic inside the cardboard box and includes a post card with a free post address asking for words of support for our Olympic Team !! No wonder they have raised the price.
