This is why the Council is officer led, lack of little intelligence on the Exec Board. The Executive Board members only vote on, officer recommendations. On the Exec Board webcasts you will see the heads of departments having to sit with the lead member to answer and explain the proposals. The Executive Board posts cost the taxpayer in the region of 300k per annum. Do we get value for money? I think not.
