Police Uncover Cannabis Farm On Llay Industrial Estate

Police uncovered a cannabis farm in a disused factory on the Llay Industrial Estate on Wednesday.

110 plants were found during the raid along with growing equipment in the unit just outside Wrexham.

Four men were arrested on suspicion of growing and producing cannabis and were bailed pending further enquiries.

North Wales Police have asked the public to continue assisting them by providing information on such illegal operations.

Chief Inspector Alex Goss said: “We recognise the concerns of our communities and will continue to pro-actively target persons involved in drugs.

“In return, we ask that members of our communities support our actions by continuing to provide information to the police.

“North Wales is one of the safest areas in the UK and the individuals we are targeting do not represent the vast majority of our residents and with the support of our communities, we will continue to target the criminal minority.”
