Cash Taken In Armed Robbery At Borras Co-op
North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery took place at the Co-op on Borras Park Road last night.
Twitter user Chris Prendergast reported a large amount of police activity in the area last night, he said: “5 police cars and ambulance flew past my house 40 min ago then heard helicopter.”
Police have confirmed that two men armed with a weapon entered the store at around 9pm and took cash with a third man possibly waiting for them outside the premises.
Earlier this years thieves attempted to ram raid Martin’s newsagents which is on the same row of shops as the Co-op, however fled on foot after the car failed to start and were apprehended by police.
