Fancy a slightly alternative form of entertainment to escape the back to school blues? Look no further as this Wednesday Clays Golf Centre will play host to the Dennis Walters Golf Show in aid of the Empowering Youth Foundation.

Hailing from the US, Dennis aspired to become a member of the PGA Tour however, became paralysed from the waist down in 1974 following an accident. Since then his tenacity and determination have led to an incredibly successful career as a trick shot specialist, and as this will be his last trip to the UK it really is a one time only opportunity to see the man in action.

Clays Golf Centre will be opening their doors and facilities including a purpose built crazy golf course to the public from 4PM on Wednesday 7th September prior to the Dennis Walters Golf Show. There’ll also be face painting and a prize raffle, with the proceeds going to the Empowering Youth Foundation, a charity which helps disadvantaged youth in the Wrexham area by teaching life skills through golf.

One of Dennis’ sponsors, Jelly Belly, are kindly providing some sweets for children in attendance, and the mention of sweets was enough to convince the wrexham.com team to attend!!

For more information about the event please contact Molly Whelan ([email protected]).

Attendees welcome from 4PM, Dennis Walters Golf Show commences at 5.30PM. See you there!!
