A planning application has been made for change of use of a solicitors office on King Street to become a shop with flats above.

The listed block of buildings is said to to be part of the first residential street formally laid out in Wrexham and was established in 1828. The block was initially built as seven shops with living accommodation above – much like the current plan.

The specific building is number 55, and the planning documents state there is to be no works to the external fabric of the building aside from adding a rear entrance door.

Parking for residents is due to be via a single space at the rear of the property, however the documentation does refer to the public car park on Llwyn Isaf.
