a483 Traffic Chaos After Incident

Police remained on scene for several hours after the incident

Around 8am this morning an incident occured on the northbound A483 shortly after the Rossett junction causing traffic chaos. The bypass is still (10.30am) restricted to a single lane for around 500m.

Reports earlier from drivers cited seeing police sniffer dogs, forensics and a helicopter. An eyewitness said a car had left the road colliding with a tree.

Update midday: Road is now reopened and the Evening Leader report a man died in a car accident earlier, linked to this.
