Tesco Seeks Early Morning & Late Night Delivery Extensions

Tesco in Cefn Mawr are applying to Wrexham Council to extend their delivery timeframe by two hours a day , from 7am to 10pm currently to a proposed 6am – 11pm.

There is quite a weighty report which accompanies the planning application (viewable here as a PDF) detailing noise levels around the Tesco store.

It also details the delivery times for Tesco stores – apparently taking 2.5 minutes to arrive, 30 minutes to unload and a very speedy 30 seconds to depart.

The report says that the noise at 6am is the same as is at 7am, likewise that at 10pm the noise levels are the same as 11pm.

There are no changes to the store being proposed, just the alteration in delivery times.
