As the name the suggests, my name is wayne and I live in spain, although the locals would say I live in catalunya.

I live in the centre of Barcelona in a neighborhood called sant antoni (in between las ramblas and the olympic stadium on montjuic) and work as a web developer/web designer (the other side of las ramblas near their arc de triomf.)

Originally from Wrexham, I visit quite a few times a year, usually taking in a few games at the cae ras and seeing friends and family.

During the bad years at the football club was an activist doing a sponsored walk the length of wales, plus many other things such as putting together a number of the dismal jimmy fanzines.

have my fingers in a lot of other pies ... a barcelona cultural monthly newsaper with a circulation of 18,000, an eco advice org with support from the rockerfeller foundation, a few eco co-ops, a few lean start-ups as well as a bit of activism against property developers and support for less oil/more cycling orgs like critical mass..

Always looking out for the town. Looking to bringing eco advice to wrexham & north wales shortly.

Can't see myself moving back to gb as it's just too xenophobic, right wing and consumerist driven as well not being multi-cultural.

What sort of Eco advice are you going to bring to Wrexham and North Wales and how are you going to do it? Just wondering.

todo as they say here - Everything possible and where to go. (however this will be dependent on what is in and around wrexham.) Everyone already has the potential to get the info they want, however they don't know how... e.g. a cycle lane routeplan, where can people get organic foods, where can people get their things fixed, etc.

no-profit co-op creation - second with the aim of the following:

• publish and distribute to all households & businesses an annual free booklet/newspaper on the top 20% of web enquiries - without ads and without ads posing as content.
• workshops - recycling (give people skills to fix stuff); grow stuff;
  save energy, etc

facilitate groups within communities - third

fourth - whatever evolves from 1, 2 & 3. e.g. could be a drop in centre. town shop, who knows? Has to be organic and dependent on what the wrexham public want (if you pardon the pun.)
