A former Coleg Cambria student is preparing to take on a challenge as she joins the institution’s business department.

Former A level student at the Yale site, Amanda Holmes brings with her years of experience within the private sector to her new role as Head of Business Development at the College.

Her role will involve working closely with the Employer Engagement team and industry throughout North Wales and England, to deliver real skills for business, meeting regional and national skills agendas.

Amanda says she is eager to raise the profile of Cambria For Business, one of the largest providers of work-based learning and education training in Wales and North West with an excellent reputation for skills delivery and strong relationships with local, regional and national employers.

“I am proud to be working at Coleg Cambria in my new role” said Amanda, “and I am looking forward to the challenge and building the team that I have to meet the needs of our clients.

“I am very passionate about industry, skills and apprenticeships and I look forward to working closely with the private sector, schools and further education to raise the profile of Cambria For Business, apprenticeships and our Employer Engagement capability.”
